After 25 years and approximately 280,000 visitors per year, the Aqua Marien water park in Marienberg underwent a comprehensive renovation of the entire facility. iproplan^® supported the project with structural engineering and geotechnical investigations.

As part of the modernization, the following were added, among other things:

- 5 new slides, including Saxony’s longest water slide at over 150 m
- a new outdoor and event sauna for up to 80 people

It’s a wonderful feeling when plans ultimately become a place where so many people feel at home—and a great example of just how much engineering goes into leisure and recreation.
