On March 21, 2025, the Garage Campus was officially opened. An exciting venue for creative projects and new ideas has been created on the site of the former tram depot on Zwickauer Straße. Among other things, various exhibitions, conferences, and projects with schools, universities, and training companies are to take place here.

The event was a complete success – with a great atmosphere, music, and many inspiring impressions. It's wonderful to see something new emerging at this historic location.

As the owner of the site and the developer, CVAG was responsible for this extensive project. The comprehensive renovation work, which included the demolition of the former administration building, roof renovation, and infrastructure renewal, is now complete. A total of around €8 million was invested in the garage campus, a large part of which came from the federal-state program “Growth and Sustainable Renewal (WEP) – Zwickauer Straße Development Area.”
