We have recently welcomed two new colleagues here in Chemnitz, Vi & Duong. They are coming from our iproplan® branch office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and will both initially support the department of Architecture with 3D visualizations and preliminary designs during their stay of 3 months.
Some facts about the two colleagues:
Previous experience / specializations:
Vi has worked as an architect on projects ranging from concept development to the design execution, including design, technical drawings and presentations. Furthermore, she has performed collision checks in buildings based on Revit models. She has gained experience on medium and large scale industrial projects, but her primary focus lay on office- and residential buildings.
Duong gained some experience with the Revit software. Preparation of floor plans, details, 3D elevations, fire protection plans and the structuring of projects – for Duong not a problem at all.
The first impressions of Germany:
The cold weather in Chemnitz! But also the “tranquillity” as well as the architecture, that differs considerably from the architecture in their home country.
In addition, Vi & Duong emphasize how friendly they have been welcomed by the colleagues here in Chemnitz.
They discover new things every day and love German sweets and chocolate.
Expectations at iproplan® for the following 3 months:
Vi hopes to acquire knowledge in the fields of architecture, building construction and building material in Germany. She wants to get involved in all project stages as a team member, especially in the concept stage. Also, she would like to find out and learn more about the German culture and language.
Duong hopes to gain more experience especially in terms of rendering.
We wish Vi and Duong a lot of fun, success and an exciting time in Chemnitz.
