We would like to congratulate our architect Detlef Mevius and his project planning team, including building physics and construction management, on this success.

Although the north-west wing of Plauen Town Hall with its main entrance, ground floor foyer, citizens' services and residents' registration office is not yet fully completed, the completely redesigned art foyer with an exhibition by the artist Manfred Feiler was also put into use last Tuesday with the first town council meeting in the newly renovated council chamber.

The refurbishment of the north-west wing was difficult but rewarding: the result is impressive. The council chamber, which had been out of use since April 2019 due to construction work, was reoccupied by the city council on 17 October. The parliamentary group level on the 3rd floor is due to be completed and handed over in mid-November.
