New Center for Medical Technologies (MedAcc)

26 February 2024

A new center for medical technologies (MedAcc) is being built at the Carl-Thiem-Klinikum Cottbus, which is being planned by iproplan® as general planning according to the BIM standard.
The general planning team for the MedAcc is led by project manager Detlef Mevius and is based on the design ideas of our architect Manh Hai Do.
After completing the preliminary planning, the client opted for the variant with a protruding opening cube.

The total cost of the project is €15 million, with completion scheduled for July 2026.

The MedAcc is a combination of office and laboratory space. There will also be conference areas as well as space for workshops and medical product development.

The building will be used as a start-up center. Potential users will include companies, smaller groups and individuals. This building concept will create an innovative and attractive working and recreational atmosphere.
