Last Friday, the topping-out ceremony of the sports hall for the secondary school and Regenbogen primary school on Ferdinand-Lassalle-Straße in Taucha was celebrated.

Our colleagues were on site and were able to see for themselves the completion of the shell. Soon, the building shell will be sealed and then the building extension will start. Completion and thus handover to the future users is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.  

The sports hall with integrated school canteen is 55 metres long and 35 metres wide. This almost 2,000 square metres of compacted area will be partially compensated for by a so-called retention roof, which will be greened.

In future, the building will be used by the pupils of the Taucha secondary school and by children from the neighbouring Regenbogenschule.
